Yoga = Balance
Yoga balances the right and left side of the body that work all the internal systems and thoughts. Asana (postures) keep an overall mobility in the body that would otherwise stiffen with age. Regular yoga practice will keep all the joints supple, muscles long and ward off external events which influence on the organs as well as cardiovascular system and oxygenate the nervous system. The use of breathing exercises (pranyama) and mental focus (dharana) helps to calm and soothe the mind. In a world where our minds are constantly stimulated yoga practice can be a haven and a lifeline for our mental health.
